Water Damage Inspections

Water Damage can be cause from the interior elements such as from general longer term affects from the bathroom shower recesses leaking or the emergency breakdowns such as the Hot water heaters or either Hot & cold pipe breaks, all can cause considerable damage.

Shower recess damage can be an expensive exercise, possibly requiring the just the shower or in some cases the whole bathroom repairs with the removal and replacement of the tiles, replacing assuring the waterproof membranes are replaced correctly.

The emergency leaks may be easily repairs but in the mean time extreme damage to property can occur leaving some expensive drying, removal and replacement of some of the elements and furnishings, all based on the actual potion and whereabouts of the event. Continue reading

Water damage due to Laundry not waterproofed

Damage: Water-overflows from a hot water system and water spillage entered the adjoining apartment & saturated the carpet.  The hot water was in the laundry, so why did it enter this apartment, shouldn’t it have been water tight obviously it wasn’t, waterproofing below the floor and wall tiles is required would have stopped this type of damage.
